I just had to send you this letter to tell you how much I love you and care about you. 방금 내가 너를 얼마나 생각하며 사랑하는지 말해주려고 이글을 보냈단다. Your Friend, 너의 친구,I saw you yesterday as you were walking with your friends. 어제 네 친구들과 함께 걷는 너를 보았단다. O yes, it hurt me, but I still love you because I am your friend. 그래, 그건 나를 아프게 했지, 그러나 아직도 너를 사랑한단다 왜냐하면 너는 나의 친구니까.I saw you fall asleep last night, and I longed to touch your brow so I spilled moonlight upon your pillow and your face ... 어젯밤 잠든 너를 보았단다, 그리고 너의 얼굴을 어루만지려고 달빛을 너의 얼굴과 베개에 흘렸지... Again I waited, wanting to rush down so we could talk. I have so many gifts for you. 이야기를 하려고 달려 가고 싶었지만 다시 기다렸단다. 나는 너를 위한 선물을 정말 많이 갖고 있단다.You awakened late this morning and rushed off for the day. 오늘 아침 늦게 잠이 깬 너는 하루를 시작하려고 서둘렸지. My tears were in the rain. 내 눈물이 비가 되어 내렸지. Today you looked so sad, so alone. It makes my heart ache because I understand. 오늘 아침 너는 무척이나 슬프고 외로와 보였단다. 이해하기에 내 마음이 너무 아프구나. My friends let me down and hurt me many times but I love you. 너는 나를 실망 시키고 여러번 아프게 했지만 너를 사랑 한단다. I try to tell you in the quiet green grass. 조용한 초원에서 네게 말을 했었지. I whisper it in the leaves and trees and breathe it in the colours of the flowers. 나무와 나뭇잎들 그리고 아름다운 꽃들의 색깔들을 통해 너에게 속삭였지. I whisper it to you in the mountain streams and give the birds love songs to sing. 산등성이에서 네게 속삭이고 사랑스런 새들의 노래를 들려 주었지. I clothe you with warm sunshine and perfume the air. 향기로운 공기와 따뜻한 햇살로 너를 입혔단다. My love for you is deeper than the oceans and bigger than the biggest want or need you could ever have. 너를 사랑하는 내 마음은 바다보다 깊고 네가 원하거나 필요로 하는 그 어떤것 보다도 크단다.We will spend eternity together in heaven. 천국에서 우리는 영원히 함께 할 수 있게 될 거야. I know how hard it is on earth. 땅에서의 고단한 삶을 알지. I really know because I was there and I want to help you. 그곳에 있어 보았기에 정말 잘 알고 그래서 너를 돕고 싶구나. My Father wants to help you, too. He's that way, you know. 네가 알고 있는 그분 내 아버지도 너를 돕고 싶어 하신다. Just call me, ask me, talk to me. 그저 나를 부르렴, 물어 보렴, 그리고 애기 하렴. It is your decision ... 너의 선택이란다... I have chosen you and because of this I will wait ... 나는 너를 선택 하였으므로 기다릴 거다...Because I love you. 왜냐하면 너를 사랑하기 때문에.
